If a tooth has more extensive decay, a dental crown may be the ideal aesthetic and functional restorative solution.
At our office, we do not generally need impression material to make a crown. Instead we scan the teeth and bite prior to fabrication of the crown. You then wear a temporary crown for approximately two weeks while the permanent crown is being fabricated.
The majority of our crowns are made out of a ceramic material that mimics the look of your natural teeth. Crowns have the potential to last a lifetime with proper care and oral hygiene.
